but i'd just like to ask, how do you put scrollin lyrics on your journal? coz i got all the html stuff but when ever i try n put it in my overrides and refresh my journal page it isn't there o.0 and then i have a kool at my overrides the html isn't there anymore! =S

hi, i've got a simple question that i need help with.

i was wondering... does anyone know the perfect solution to centering everything on my journal, but at the same time, getting all of my text to be justified? because i'm trying to configure it by percentages and it hardly ever comes out perfect. so does anyone know how to perfectly center everything on the page, with the text justified at the same time?

I made a layout for my fiancee.
It's compatible ONLY in 1280x1024
(for the time being anyway, figuring out percents and pixels at 5 am isn't too smart).

Anyway, According to someone, when they view the layout, the user-pic overlaps the imagemap.

It's here, ooppee.
(Please click ONLY if you view 1280x1024).

If the user-icon doesn't over-lap for you, yay.

Anyway, my question is:

How can I completely disable the userpic on all pages?
(recent, friends and calendar).

Oh, and if my coding is wonky, do tell.

Is it possible to position a div so that it is both centered and absolute? I've tried just about everything I can think of, but nothing has worked. Either there's an ugly gaping space above my image where the background shows through (like so), or the image isn't centered (like so).

Any help is -greatly- appreciated.

Recently, I made a new lj layout with an image fixed at the bottom and having the background fixed also, so only the text scrolls. When I tested it on my computer with Firefox and IE, it stayed fixed. But at work, the image scrolls with the text. Anyone have suggestions?

Okay, so I've been working on a new layout for good ol' el jay, and I have NO idea how to put all of my entries into a scroll box...

I went through the older entries, and came across someone asking the same question, I click the link supplied, and I got the "code" from a different community, so I'm all like alright, copy the code, fix it in, and there we have it...

Well, I have absoultly no idea where I'm suppose to put it in, and it's driving me bonkers... If someone could help me, I would be sooooo thankful!!!

Hiya! First time poster here

I'm a paid user and I'm working on a custom style. It's pretty much working for me now, except for one tiny detail. I have my entries in a text box and I want the box to scroll over the background image, while the image remains stationary.

I have this lovely coding, minus spaces (only a snippet of it because my lj-cuts aren't working for some reason)
