So, I'm working on a layout, and I have a banner/top image that I want aligned to the right side of the screen (our right). The image is absolutely refusing to cooperate! I'm using the code and following the directions from howto No matter what I tweak, the image stays center. I think it may be the "fixed" line, but I want my image fixed at the top. Any ideas?

This is the code I'm using:

Hi there. I had two questions about my Friend's Page, and I was hoping someone could help me out.

1) If I go to my Friend's Page through LiveJournal (as in, click on the Journal link and then go to Friends), I can see the text. But if I go to the page from either my personal journal, or from the saved link in my favorites, there is no text, unless you highlight the page. Is it just taking my computer longer to adjust to the update, or what?

2) Is there any way to change the number of entries you see on the Friend's Page. For example, it's at 40 recent entries now, but I would like to reduce it to 20 entries.

Two problems -

1) Ok, so I just got a pre-made layout, and the layout is showing up on my friends page... Any clue what to do?

2) I want to put some lyrics in my little boxes to the side of my entries, yeah...you know the ones. And I want them to scroll from the bottom to the top. Overrides, please?

I actually have a couple of questions. How do you make it so you can have a border around ur entry boxes... how do you make the entry boxes smaller... and how do you change the text to be smaller and a different font...but in all the entries? im retarded when it comes to html stuff and i dont know any of the codes :(

this isn't a question to do with html, but i figured someone in this communitiy could help me out. i started making icons and friends only signs but when i try to upload them to photobucket or tinypic, they turn out all fuzzy. i've tried saving them as jpeg, bitmap, and everything else. they still turn out fuzzy. anybody know what's going on?

I'm working on using an imagemap as a main navigation for my band's website. If you go to http://www.ericstevenslive.com and click on the HTML site button, you'll get to the mainpage which is simply one big image map.

I'm trying to make the "News" button open the Band News page in a another window created by the function doNew1(). Here's the code:

Hi, I was just wondering if someone could help me. I'm just setting up this lj account, and I want it to look good... I'm not doing so well at the moment.

My main problem is that I've tried to make my entry area narrower, but it seems to cut off some of the text, and I have no idea why this is happening. Have a look at my journal to see what I'm talking about.

Anyone know why this happens or how I can fix it?
