Hey everyone, I am not sure if this is the right place for me to ask this but, I am not sure where else I could ask.

I am new to the whole photoshop/animation shop thing.   I have been trying to resize this picture (behind the cut) for icons and I have no idea what I am doing wrong, it keeps getting distorted.

So, about a year ago I got really into HTML and all that, I could make websites.. now.. I forget.. everything.

I'm making a blog (for knitting purposes) here.

Now, because I got a new template, all the regular blogger stuff is gone ;___;

I don't know how to get the archivey deal back the regular way, or where I can list my WIPs, or FOs (knitting jargon - they're on EVERY knitting blog.. it's quite important).

I need a little help with my javascript form. Does anyone know how code for a form validation that redirects to another page after the input is validated? Right now, I only know how to do one or the other, but not both. I prefer a way so that the url of the redirected page does not show up in the page source. Any help is appreciated.


Edit: I found out how to validate and redirect, but I still need help with hiding the "function" statement or another way to validate without me defining the exact value.

Hey guys. What I'm wanting to know, or be pointed in the direction of, is how to create the faded images look. I'm always amazed when peoples headers fade into the background, or entry boxes. It just gives it that special 'oomph' and takes away the default look. I just got a paid account, and would LOVE to find out how to do that. Thanks!

Okay, so I have this background, and I want it to continue down the page automatically, like how this, can turn into this. Do you get it? Like it's a small image, but it can continue at the bottom as the text and everything gets bigger. I know that I'm not wording this in the best way possible, but I'm really confused. I'm trying to do a marquee that stops when someone hovers over it. I'm using the following code...

<marquee onMouseover=this.scrollAmount="0" onMouseout=this.scrollAmount="4">Make this text stop!</marquee>

and it looks like this...

When hovered over, nothing happens. I'm sure it's something simple and stupid, but humor me and help! ^_^

Whenever I go to englarge my font just for certain words when I'm typing my entry and go back to view it on my journal, it doesn't get bigger. I know it has to do with the code I used to make my font different and I know there's another one you could use but I can't find it. Does anybody have it? If you do can you please let me know what it is? Thanks.

Okay so I found the code and put it in but it made my navigation links and the paragraph where my navigation links are size 12 and I set them all as 8 and then the font was bigger where I wanted it to be bigger in my entries, but I also changed the font to a different one and it didn't show up. Thanks.

Is there a way to link to a page thats in frames on a "ghosted" site? (not sure what its called)

for example... the web site www.littlebrooklyn.com

I would like to link to some of the content inside of it

but its framed inside of www.brooklyngirl.com, and i prefer to use a link with the "little brooklyn" url
