i know ABSOLUTELY nothing about html and i'm trying to redo not only my livejournal but also my myspace pages. i'm not sure where to begin, people have always made the pages for me. first question i guess would be:
1.how do i change the background color?
2.how can i add pictures to my background?
3.how do i resize pictures (for the icon or whatever)?
4.am i able to use the same codes on livejournal AND myspace?


i apologize for being so needy with my very first entree here but you gotta start somewhere right? if anyone can help me with this i would GREATLY appreciate it!

But I was curious how I would change the font for my Journal i.e. what code I would use and where I would enter it. I am using the S2 style and really do not want to change it, but can't stand the font that it is using now. Help me please?

i know this has to be the easiest thing because i used to have my journal set this way, but i'm completely drawing a blank. In my current layout, i would like my entries to be in one "text area" so to say .. where i can view all my entries in one box which scrolls with the number of entries i enter, essentially never letting me scroll the main page itself to view all the entries. i'm sorry if this isn't 100% clear, but hopefully someone can help.

I am wondering what the code is for having music start on the intro page but to keep it playing continuously for all pages without having to place the music on all pages where it starts over.

the problem is my name being out of the box and the userpicture overlapping everything and being out of the box.

when you look at my livejournal, my user picture doesn't fit in the top box like it used to before i accidentally deleted all of my overrides.
my "name," which is the purple heart, is inside the picture.
how do i get the user picture to not overlap the userinfo&friends links, but instead go to the left of them?
PLEASE help.
