God - a profanity?
Date: 12/07/04
Keywords: no keywords
I was looking at the profanity filter from Travis for comments.
Interestingly "god" is in the badwords array along f*k, s*t and its ilk!
And the way to make "god" good is by changing Him to "g*d"!!
What am I missing here :)

Bye bye comment spam!
Date: 12/07/04

Its kind of getting painful deleting "texas-holdem", "debt-consolidation" emails by hand.
What wordpress needs is a bulk moderation folder where such emails can be automatically dumped and if un-moderated deleted after say 30 days.

DDOS’ing the Spammers? Who cares?
Date: 12/03/04
Keywords: software, spam
Lycos Europe as you probably know has created a screen-saver which allows a controlling lycos software to target the idle time of the machines which installed the screen-savers to flood the network of known spammers.
Some people are getting concerned that it amounts to ddos attack.

Paying for the full-time staff requires fund raising, and the executive director must handle the challenge of retaining the ASF's independence while raising funds from individuals and companies, Behlendorf said. Currently donations to the ASF are random, he added.
