Radio buttons?

Hi! I'm Erin -- new to this comm and new to Javascript. :)

Do any of you know of an (easy to understand!) guide to basic Javascript? I am trying to figure out how to complete a class assignment, and it's giving me fits. Mainly because the lab instructor can't teach at all, but also because I'd swear he never even touched on anything this complicated. ::eyerolling::

I feel bad asking total strangers for help with my classwork, but since the teacher is useless (and every one of my fellow students is as baffled as I am, so I can't ask them), I don't know what else to do.

We're supposed to write a program to convert dollars to Euros and vice-versa, using a radio button or a prompt.

I just... I don't have a clue where to begin, and I can't find anything helpful online (Google, why have you failed me?). Not even the materials the instructor linked to are helping.

    Thank you guys so much!!
