Interesting mapped drives issue - solution for the benefit of others.

Date: 06/22/08 (Microsoft Windows)    Keywords: google

A few days back I posted this. No one replied and all my Google foo couldn't bring up a solution, so I mucked in and played with a few things until I hit on the solution. It was a corrupt ntuser.dat (these things are often simpler than they appear). So I created a new user and replaced the corrupt one with the fresh one from that account and restarted.

    Fixed. Yay.
