ughhh

I have a new laptop, a Sony Vaio CR notebook that came with Windows
Vista Home Premium. I'm having a huge problem, which first started out
with iTunes not opening when I clicked it. Then I tried to uninstall it to
redownload it, and the uninstaller takes too long and is unresponsive.
Now, it's looking like I can't open any files or programs that require
Administrator permission. The thing is that I am the only one who uses
this notebook and I'm obviously the administrator. It's frustrating.
When I open the Start Task Manager and click on the Services tab, it
shows a ton of programs that are not running. When I try and fix that, it
says that the access is denied. It's so frustrating. Windows Installer
    seems to not work, either.

    Can anyone help me?
