    For some time now I've been curious how difficult it would be to use the Mozilla codebase to create a terminal-friendly text-mode browser. Obviously capabilities would be limited (single-size fixed-width font, 16 colors at most, etc) but surely it is possible...in theory.

    I once asked Thomas Dickey about it, since he has oodles of experience with ncurses and lynx. He agreed it may be doable, providing there are interfaces that don't rely on pixel-level positioning and such. I have no idea about that.
