Clear Private Data

Does anyone know exactly how good Firefox's "Clear Private Data" is? I bought a netbook, used it for a few days and realised it was too small for me to use, and so am returning it to the shop (they have confirmed that it is okay for me to return it). Will "Clear Private Data" (plus uninstalling Firefox and doing the boot menu "restore to factory settings" option) get rid of my data well enough to avoid me being a) hacked, b) robbed (paypal), or c) pilloried in the street for being a closet tweepop fan? If not, does anyone have any suggestions as to what I could do to ensure that the machine is clean when I return it?
