TIME ZONE

Date: 02/25/06 (MySQL Communtiy)    Keywords: mysql, sql

    Server timezone is GMT-6.
What is the fast way to get GMT date using current_date() function or any other in request?
Server version is MySql 4.0 so ADDTIME(), CONVERT_TZ(), UTC_DATE(), DATEDIFF() and other cool MySql 4.1 functions does'nt work :(
