In-line find

I like the in-line find feature in Opera: when I press Ctrl+F, instead of a find dialog popping up, the focus jumps to the find box in the address bar that defaults to Google search, and it switches to find-in-page mode.

At one time there was a menu option for selecting this behaviour, then it was a setting in preferences, but since 9.0 I can't find it at all. I've managed to set it in the preferences file (e.g. opera6.ini or it's Mac equivalent), but surely there's an easier way to set this?
