Date: 12/19/06 (Software) Keywords: software A week ago a friend deleted his Outlook emails. It appears to be a misunderstanding of what the repair tool or reinstaller was supposed to do. What fancy abilities exist these days to retrieve deleted information? So far I told him to stop using his computer and keep it turned off. Take it to a high end professional to get back his email worth a hundred dollars of information to him. The idea is to preserve the harddrive in it's current state. When it's off there's still a chance to retrieve old data. As I understand it, it's not really deleted, just marked for future harddrive use to write over those areas.
