I'd prefer not to network the computers, but,,

I have an old WindowsME computer which still runs fine, but wanted a laptop, so I bought a 13" white MacBook, which I dearly love.

I need to find a program which will allow me to run my .exe programs on Mac's OSX.
I don't want to have to purchase a new mac version of my .html program, and I prefer my older version of PSP v.7.
I may need to interface CuteFTP (of course I have the old old version) too.

I ordered the new Leopard opsys disk for $10, but I have a feeling that I'd still be looking at purchasing some version of Windows XP (pro?) to run BootCamp, which I'd prefer NOT to run 2 operating systems IF I can find a way to convert my programs for macuse. (The last "real" windows disks I have that are not oem are Win98SE!)

I've googled + found at least 3 programs that would allow .exe files to run on mac osx (not BootCamp or Parallels), but I don't really understand what's involved (I fear messing up my new laptop) + I don't want to spend mega bucks on WindowsXP = only to have my MacBook run slower.

Let me know if networking my older computer to my mac (I have Airport Express) would be the best solution under these circumstances. I'd consider doing that if it's the best + least expensive method, and if I can figure out how to do it.

    Tia.
