im thinking about having my host set up a shell account for me because i want to search my files for a string of text. whats the command for this? its been years, and i forget. also, do you know of any online beginner guides on how to use your shell account. like check email, edit files, n all that? ooo, know of any where i can get a free shell account to get familiar with before i get mine set up? because if no one helps me along the way, or i dont figure it out, its not really worth paying my host to set up.
