Okay, so the problem should be obvious to anyone who takes a look, but here's a little more explanation of the ultimate goal:

I'd like to rearrange the page (original looks like this: http://www.iop.harvard.edu/) so that there is a *row* of features at the top, instead of the *column* of features in the middle on the old page. Underneath that I'd like to have the same column set up as the original page, but with different content (irrelevent). For some reason, when I created a new row after the "features" area, the page freaked out, even after adding in all of the obligatory spacing (I didn't design this site) and other border nonsense. This is the best state I could get it to, but I don't know why A. the "feature" is right aligned rather than left aligned, B. the border is too far in on the new row on the bottom, and C. why there's a huge whitespace after the border on the bottom row. If anyone could give me a little advice, it would be really, really appreciated. I've already cursed out the computer more than I can stand to in one day, so the next thing is physical violence. And we all know that's no good!

    Thanks!
