I'm relatively new to the community and had a question for any freelance designers out there.  I recently finished a web design program and have been approached by someone with a request to re-design their current website after they saw a site that I designed for a mutual friend.  I just have no idea what to charge.  I'm fairly new to the freelance aspect of design, though I've been designing for quite awhile through my day job.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a rate to charge for a 15-20 page re-design?  I'd like to give her a quote for the project  rather than an hourly quote because I honestly have no idea how long it will take me and I don't want her to have any surprises at the end.
