running IE6 and IE7 on one computer / alternatives?

I know this is an issue that many of you have had to deal with.
What is the best and easiest way to test CSS that works in both IE6 and IE7?

I have made a CSS menu using an unordered list, and it isn't floating left in IE7 but stacking up on a different line for every

  1. tag.

I should probably install IE7 on my computer but that means I would lose IE6 which is the most used bowser right now. Why did Microsoft have to make this so hard? It's so not cool.

    What do you guys do?
