Regular expression

I'm using Dreamweaver and I need to get rid of a lot of content on one site. Basically, anything between

  1. tags (including the tags themselves). Is there a regular expression I can use in the Find and Replace that can do this? There are about 300 instances of the tag in the entire site so to do it by hand will take forever.
