CSS is messed up in IE for P element

    Date: 10/08/06 (WebDesign)    Keywords: css

    My site looks fine in FireFox or Safari but in IE on a PC the text is all centered and in IE 5.2.3 for Mac there are long spaces in between each word.  I took the CSS out and it was aligned properly, but I still want to be able to use CSS, so..

    Don't know if this will show up on here but this is the CSS.  Fine, right?:

    body {
    font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    font-size: 12px;
    color: white
    text-align: left;
    }

    p {
    font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    font-size: 12px;
    color: white
    text-align: left;
    }
