Rollover image advice needed

Date: 12/09/07 (WebDesign)    Keywords: css, web

So... what are your best roll-over image techniques?

My plan requires roll-over images, but quite frankly, the web is saturated with pages, and it confuses me as to knowing what is proper and what is not.

So, I need some help. Can you guys tell me what you use for roll-overs when it comes to CSS?
