I use to design websites all the time back in my early teen years, using html "cheat sheets" and used tables to line up websites. They looked nice for that time.

As the years went by, times have changed - So has web design. Websites look a lot different then they use to. I will be taking classes in university based around Web Design later on, and was curious if anyone had ideas on how to brush up on those skills.

I noticed quite a few people using Adobe Dreamweaver to create code. Is there any other programs used or any books/websites to look into?

Any pointers/suggestions would be mighty helpful.
