I just got a response back from the sales department of a company I am designing a site for. Here is what Miss Sales Department wants to be changed:

1. Make the logo 50% larger and bright red
2. Make out slogan 30% larger, bright red, and SCROLLING
3. Make our phone number larger and flashing
4. The overall coloring is too dark- Make it all bright red

I think I'm going to scream.
Is there any documentation online proving that blindingly bright colors, blinking and scrolling text are just awful and ineffective?
