    The frames alternative question...

I'm creating a web site that has a flash header (with navigation) and a flash side bar. These elements are part of the basic layout and are going to be on every page of the site... I would like to have it so that when I click on a link in the header the content area changes, but the header and sidebar do not reload. I *could* use frames... but I refuse.

I've used includes before as an alternative to frames, but with includes the shared elements still reload on every page.

How do I accomplish this without using frames?

    Thanks for any help :)
