Align Graphics Vertically

    Date: 01/11/06 (WebDesign)    Keywords: browser

If I create a single celled table on a page and tell it to be 100% height and 100% width and then center the graphic inside it should (in theory) stay exactly centered no matter what size the browser window, right? But the height attribute "100%" doesn't seem to be recognised by a whole bunch of browsers (it just defaults to the height of the graphic, pushing it to the top of the page), so how do I get the graphic to automatically center on the page? Is there a simple tag that will align a graphic on a page vertically without it being within a table cell?

Sorry if this is a really dumb question...but I can't seem to find a simple solution ;)
