what is a common method for decision making algorithm ? For example in hiring process, there are multiple candidates but can only choose one (or couple). There are factors to consider such as grades, education degree , work experience, honor awards etc ... some are considered more important than others.

Fuzzy Decission tree is one of the methods comes to mind, any other ? And what most important is how I can tell whether a method is better than another ? Can I use Monte Carlo to do those statistic ?

    Thanks,
