I have a Compaq with a CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive. When I try to read burned CDs it simply tells me they are blank, but the data on these CDs will read just fine on other computers.

Is my CD drive faulty already? We just got this computer in December. Is there anything I can do to remedy this problem?
