IP Address and router issues

Date: 11/22/05 (Computer Help)    Keywords: no keywords

i'm trying to play a game online. when i host a game other people have problems joining me. they see my IP address as 192.168.1.105 (i am on a network, but not a network with these people.)

so i know that 192.168 is a local address on my router. how do i find my actual ip address? do i have one outside of the router?
