I loved Dungeon Siege(yeah, I know, humor me). I got Dungeon Siege II and have played it for about two hours so far.

Someone PLEASE tell me that the game returns to what made the first version great soon? This new version makes me feel like I'm playing a "choose your own adventure" game, with only two choices. It's so damned scripted! In the original version I could choose where I wanted to go, wander, take side trips, all that stuff. This version keeps me on a very short leash.

Anyone else found this to be the case? Is the whole game like this?
