I just bought a new 24 inch iMac. I bought it for the purposes of being able to edit on it. I even upgraded everything to what I could: 2.33ghz processor, 2gb mem, the better video card, etc.

I'm a film student and my school wants us to edit on Avid but Avid currently does not work on intel Macs. So I got thinking and would Avid work on my mac if I used boot camp to run WindowsXP on it? Would you even recommend trying that?
