interesting question. heard from a customer today that as of the beginning of october ICANN has now made it that, .com domains need an auth code in order to be transferred, but i can not find any information confirming or denying this notion. was wondering if anyone else has come across this and can provide any links or insights.

i've been searching all the registrars and icanns website, along with many technical news sites, haven't found a damn thing . . . any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
