Getting the date on the picture

I have an Olympus D-370 digital camera. I have an Epson Stylus C86 printer. I want to be able to put the dates of the pictures I print out onto the picture itself. How do I do that? Do I need to have an Epson digicam to go along with my Epson printer? Thanks for any help
