Could some of you tell me which Linux distribution you're using and explain why you're using it instead of the other ones. Also, if you've switched distributions in the past, please also make some comparisons.

I'm thinking of Kubuntu, since I've used KDE at work before and Ubuntu is good for relative freshies.
