Does anyone have any experience with WinDVD? I got it because I was told that it would allow me to view DVD's on my computer. That's great but should Windows Media Player already be able to view DVD's in my DVD drive?

Also, does it matter if the WinDVD program is a few years old? What would I get if I used WinDVD Player 6 as opposed to a version from 1999?
