My friend's laptop crashed so he is trying to reinstall Windows XP professional. Unfortunately, he says that the laptop no longer recognizes the CD drive. Or so I believe he said. Any ideas on how to identify the problem and come with a solution? We can't afford a PRO as we're both quite poor.
