I have a customer that has burned a lot of movies from vhs to dvd using a standalone recorder. He then recorded people talking about the home movies using a mic and has wav files that he wants to overlay with the video.

Here is what I need:

At any cost, ONE program that will take a DVD and convert it to video so I can add a wav file to it and then burn it back to a dvd.

Right now i'm doing the following, ANYTHING TO SPEED THIS UP AND YOU ARE MY HERO!!:

VOB2MPG to take video from DVD to mpeg
Importing the mpeg to Windows Movie Maker and adding the audio track, saving movie.
Nero 6.16 to transcode video back to mpeg to burn to dvd.

I have installed Windows XP Media Center 2005 and a tv capture card so that in the future he can record the video directly into nero while watching and recording audio and then burn, but he has a lot of backlog of dvds that need to be done the above way.
