if anyone could help id gretaly appreciate it...

im having an issue with my Windows Media player playing some video files on my computer...

when the video plays, the picture and the color is seperated vertically showing a gray
video in the middle with a fuschia colored one unerneath it and yellow and green-blue above it i believe.
it doesnt happen with all of my video files, but it is most of them so i
already tried downloading an codec for windows media player 9 and 10,
also i tried another thing on WMP troubleshooting site, but neither worked

so i was wondering if anyone has had a similiar issue, and if so
    how to fix it

    thanks in advance!
