1. help please!

    I downloaded FireFox to use on my personal computer instead of IE and there are a few things wrong with my lj. The orange borders I have through overrides around my entries won't show up for me, and the font is small. Before in IE it looked like this; now in FireFox it looks like this. Anyone have FireFox that can tell me how to fix this problem? Thanks!

    hi. i'm trying to make my myspace profile looks nice. i've tried using the myspacehelp tool that generates codes, but i can't seem to get rid of the table borders. i also want my profile, interests and about me boxes to be seperate when i change the table background colour.

    So, I was trying to make a form and have all the textboxes and checkboxes and everything else down, except for one thing: I can't figure out how to make it send the results of the form to my e-mail account. I checked in a ton of different places but in all of their examples, they had an example that showed what to put if you want the results sent to th cgibin or something. Does anyone know what code thing to put in?

  9. Need help with displaying my default icon

    I have a layout that I intend to use, and it has a sidebar... it is for the Generator style. I'd like to know how I could possibly display my default icon in the sidebar area.

    I can't put an IMG tag in it because I don't think LJ allows that override.

  12. Firefox and my messed up el jay

    Okay, so I got my journal to look the way I want it to, while I was using regular Internet Explorer...

    I just got Firefox today and my nav links at the top of my entries and the borders around my entries are all sorts of screwed up in Firefox, but I have no idea how to fix it because I've never used Firefox before!!!

    Heya, the font on my journal is Arial (7.5pt) but whenever a friend uses 'text align=justify' for each individual entry, it turns up on my journal (on the friends page) as being the font, which is size 12, that I've used for my journal name (- for the name you write in the userinfo area- code being: td div).

    Is there a way that I can sort it out so that their entries aren't size 12pt, without changing the font size under the 'td div' bit?

    Even if no, it'd be great if someone who knows that there isn't any other way except getting rid of it, could let me know! Thanks.

    I used to have a website bookmarked that helped me with HTML. Somehow I lost it. The only things I can remember about it are that it had an orange-ish background, and I believe the color of the print was blue. All of the different sections were in rectangular boxes on the top of the page.

    Hey guys, I'm working on a friend's LJ and can't seem to get it to work. I'm not very good at all this jazz, so reading the guides and what not don't help me much. What I CAN tell you is that it's supposed to be set up the same as mine (but with different colors and a different picture). I just don't understand why it will work on my page, but not on her's... If anyone can help I would REALLY appreciate it! here's the coding:

  18. Override override question

    Hi there...

    I think there's something in my overrides that doesn't allow my font to show up like I entered it in my journal entry.

    Like if I do a big heart ♥ in my journal entry, it still shows up as little ♥ in my journal viewing page. And even the same when I go to comment.

    Could someone tweak my overrides real quick and see?

  19. Picture code assistance

    Ok, why is this happening?

    Not an expert here, and I know IE is the root of all HTML evil, but I don’t get it.
    All images on my site have a code to be 50x50 pixels, unless they’re of a specific class. ( I use CSS to get this done)

    Fire fox recognizes this, and is fine, displaying my pictures properly.
    IE is a douch and only will size the special pics after a few refreshes.

    Arou?

    Is there something in there that I have to put for the evil IE so that it will display properly the first frappin’ time or am I doomed to preface my site with a “Optimal goodness in any browser other than IE” statement?
