Linux learning question

Date: 02/19/07 (IT Professionals)    Keywords: linux, microsoft

    Hi!

I have over 9 years of Microsoft operating system experience and I want to expand! I have NO experience with Linux and from what I've seen so far it's a pineapple to Microsoft's apple (pardon the pun). Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I might approach learning Linux? Any good n00b suggestions? I know I can learn it, I figured it couldn't hurt to ask!
