Excel Dropdowns...

Is it possible to create a value list in Excel that allows the user to choose each value only once? Example: I have created a drop down list of 10 values, A through J. In the column, the user can choose any letter as many times as they want but only those letters. What I would like to do is take "A" off the list if the value "A" was already chosen.

    [EDIT]

Option two would be to mark an X or something similar in the column next to the drop down value list when the value is chosen.
