Understand Error messages

    Date: 07/13/05 (PHP Community)    Keywords: mysql, sql

    I am using echo mysql_error(); to help debug my code.

    Would this statement return

    "You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near"

    if there were no records that matched the query?
