...hey all, 1st post so you'll exuse me if i miss on etiquete.
I have a lovely little sit i'm working on at the moment, it has alot of pictures which are likely to change fairly quickly; at the moment, instead of creating thumbnails (in photoshop or whatever) they are all created on the fly by the page (actually it calls a separate page with the relelvant information & passes back the resized picture) but it _sucks_ for speed - 1st page load you would expect to be slow(er) than the other page loads - but as the pictures are re-generated every page load it's slow all the time. what could be suggested so that i can show a large version (full size) of one of the thumbnails, on the same page, without reloading ALL of the thumbnails -
i can post code if need be but that pretty well explains what's going on & if u look at www.photosbybw.co.uk you will see it in action
..suggestions please
