iFrames help...

I realize that this is probably a stupid question with an obvious answer, but I am almost completely fed up. I'm new to this kind of layout (iFrames), so I followed a tutorial HERE. I did all the steps the way it said, but no matter what I try it comes out like THIS. I'm lost, frustrated and at my wit's end. If you could offer any insight I would be grateful for it.

By the way, I use DreamWeaver, and all files are saved as htm, if that helps any.
