Date: 10/04/06 (WebDesign) Keywords: php, css, html, asp, java, web tasha's post was interesting to me, because I'm coming at learning web design from the opposite end; I've got a decent grasp of working with the back end (X/HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, etc.) but haven't had a graphic design course since high school. I was also considering the Art Institute because I've heard it mentioned in this group a lot. But I also notice that a lot of people say degrees are "a nice extra" at most. And right now I'm working full-time and won't have the means financially to go to school for at least a year. So my question is this: do any of you have recommendations for how to learn the aesthetic side of web design on my own time with a limited budget?
