wav file as bgsound in firefox

The subject should speak for itself... I have this wave file I want to play as the background sound to one page in my site and it will play fine in IE but not in FireFox. Here's the code I've been using:

    http://www.amberkaye.com/cats.wav" LOOP="infinite">

I put this right after the end head tag, before the body tag. Am I placing it in the wrong place? Is the coding not up to date? Like I said, it works fine in IE, but not in firefox.
