virtual community platforms...

    So... I wrote some stuff about virtual communities and the information technology they exist on. Instead of trying to create a list of virtual communities, I started to create a list of types of virtual communities and what tech they're based on.

    I listed usenet, forums, irc, blogs, social networks, mmorpgs, and AGMs. Not the best list... granted... but I think it shows where I was headed with the concept. There's more detail in the original post.

    So.. I post this here cause I'm interested in trying to create a much longer list... and though maybe you might have something to add.
