    Hi. New here as well.
My computer at home, it died on me last weekend. It froze up, so I tried to restart it. Then it froze partway through the booting-up process. Every time I've tried to boot it up since then, it's frozen partway through. My father seems to think it's a virus. So my questions:

    A) Is this most likely a virus?

    B) Is this repairable?

    C) If so, how much would it cost {on average} to have it fixed?

    D) Is there any chance the memory can be recovered?

    ~Emily.
