router problem

Date: 08/27/05 (Computer Help)    Keywords: browser

hi, i was trying to check my router connections the other day (so i could be a host on opencanvas).
anyway i typed in my IP number into my browser to get into the router page. on the first page that appeared, i changed my IP to something else (to see if it would work).
but now my computer won't connect to the internet anymore. how can i get online again or fix the router site so that the IP number is the same to what it was before?

    (can i use msdos?)
