Ok guys, what am I doing wrong here:

The Problem

The goal: To have the data that I take from the table be displayed along with an "approval" button that, upon being clicked, will change the `approved` field in the internships table to yes for the specified `id`. I echo back the id variable and it works, and the query string looks correct too; anyone have any damn ideas?

Also: I'm an IDIOT and I don't understand why I can't use the pre tag to enclose my code portions. It still ends up parsing and the tags show up. Wtf?
