Novell made its bed with Microsoft. It got engaged to Microsoft. It took Microsoft for better or worse, and this is the worse. Now that it sees just what Microsoft is about, it wants the open source movement to forgive it, to accept its apology and to continue dating it, to continue paying for its SUSE Linux licenses.

Both clauses are meant mainly to protect Microsoft's interests, as opposed to the licensee's interests. Microsoft doesn't want you trying to make a profit by adding your stuff to its stuff. This ain't your daddy's BSD, in other words.

I haven't been doing web design for a few years and I just want to be sure that I cover all my bases. Which browsers should I test on. I've got Firefox, Netscape, Internet Explorer and Opera. Are there anymore that you would recommend? Is there a browser that I didn't mention that you think is fantastic? Let me know. Also, I use Microsoft Windows XP (PC) because I know sometimes Mac/PC factors into what people think is or isn't wonderful.

In a frenzy of moving items to my storage card, I apparently deleted my blank template for Word from my Treo 700wx. Of course, I can make up a default template, but Word Mobile seems to be looking for the template in a specific location-- where it isn't. Could anyone tell me where the Templates folder should be on the device, so I can put it back? Or, perhaps you may tell me that what I think will fix things, won't... sigh... I've searched the help files at Palm, Microsoft, and even my carrier, but so far no luck. When I have time I will call tech support, I suppose, but right now I don't have a lot of time to stay on hold--
